How do you build cross disciplinary skills and global issues thinking when you teach single subject units? Often times in Secondary it may seem like we are siloed by content and we run the risk of becoming single minded. However, we know that students learn best when trans-disciplinary connections are being made. In this workshop we will look at ways to create authentic inquisitiveness as we examine contemporary global issues and build common threads across subject departments. Our goal is for you to walk away with 2-3 strategies / resources for use in the classroom.
